One-Stop integrated sourcing & procurement partner for all industrial products

ATS provides best engineered and economically designed vacuum furnaces. We cater to a wide range starting from small horizontal laboratory models to large vertical furnaces for diverse applications as per the needs of clients in metal working industries which includes brazing, sintering, annealing, degassing, drying, tempering, soldering, quenching, and hardening. All of our vacuum furnaces feature a robust construction and can provide rapid and highly consistent heating in a controlled atmosphere, making them ideal for numerous heavy duty industrial and laboratory applications.

We emphasize on the design of hot zone as it is the most critical feature of a vacuum furnace in terms of its effect on furnace performance and operating cost. There are a variety of hot zone designs and the choice of a design should be based on a careful analysis of specific processing applications

Vacuum Induction Melting furnace

Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) is the melting of metal via electromagnetic induction under vacuum. An induction furnace containing a refractory lined crucible surrounded by an induction coil is located inside a vacuum chamber. The induction furnace is connected to an AC power source at a frequency precisely correlating to the furnace size and material being melted.

Vacuum induction melting can be used to advantage in many applications, particularly in the case of the complex alloys employed in aerospace engineering.

The following advantages have a decisive influence on the rapid increase of metal production by VIM:

  • Flexibility due to small batch sizes. Fast change of program for different types of steels and alloys. Easy operation.
  • Low losses of alloying elements by oxidation. Achievement of very close compositional tolerances.
  • Precise temperature control. Low level of environmental pollution from dust output.
  • Removal of undesired trace elements with high vapour pressure. Removal of dissolved gases, for example, hydrogen and nitrogen.

Arc Melt Furnace- Single Arc

Arc melt furnaces provide a cost saving alternative to resistance or inductance heating furnaces for many applications. Rather than heaters or induction coils, an electric arc is used to heat up and/or melt parts. Our smallest Arc Melt Furnace can instantly reach temperatures over 3000C, and will cool down to room temperature in minutes. Arc Melt Furnace is simple to operate, extremely reliable and has a low acquisition and operation cost. The available options such as load locks, rotating hearth, and more, make this furnace versatile and adaptable

  • Bottom loading configuration.
  • Vacuum chamber construction
  • Copper stinger with tungsten electrode.
  • Copper hearth plate 2.0” dia. (51mm dia.) usable
  • Power Supply : 300 - 1200 Amp
  • Water-cooled power cables
